Many dog lovers around the world like to rescue dogs. People are creating trends to adopt rescue dogs because they need to be loved just like other dogs. Because of this, almost every country in the world maintains rescue dog shelters. Those shelters bring happiness to stray dogs that were neglected by their owners and even for dogs born on the streets.
Because of this, rescue dog shelters attract many people’s attention, and people don’t think twice about donating their money. Then what about a person having not just one but nine rescue dogs at home. Sounds different, but many people called her one of the living angels for the furry companions who need help.
But people noticed her not just because she has nine rescue dogs but because of one of her dog’s attitudes. It is Haley Deecken, the girl with nine rescue dogs with a special dog who has a particular attitude.
“A lot of times, he’ll puff his lips up. It almost looks like he’s giving me a filthy look. I love that about him.” She said that. People catch their eye on this dog’s unique smile, and according to Haley, he’s like this 99%of the time. She further noted that many people think the dog has a cleft lift as his lips go up while sleeping. But she describes it as just his attitude.
Dunkin has a big family with eight other members. He stands out from all the family members because of this unique personality. The family contains nine rescue dogs in different breeds sizes, two cats and one rabbit. According to Haley, she adopted most of them from a local dog shelter where her mother works.
Girl adopted the dog when he was eight weeks old, and she still feels a special connection with him. “I love all my dogs, but something stands out with Dunkin, I don’t want to say I favor him, but he’s my heart dog. He’s my best friend,” she explains.
Dunkin is a loving dog, but he sometimes searches his own space away from his other family members. “He’ll climb up on our pantry to try and get away from all of the other dogs,” she said.
At first, he climbs up there to cool down, but later one day, she notices that he’s giving a help me like look help me because other dogs are crowded around him.
She also describes him as a good jumper who can jump over their six-foot-tall fence and other dog fences inside the house. She further explained how he was afraid of the vacuum sound.
She also doesn’t forget to explain Dunkin’s relationship with a dog named Kirby. Even Dunkin is not very close with other dogs, and he has a special connection with this bit of dog called Kirby.
“I think my favorite part about rescuing is just because they need it so much more than dogs in a puppy store or something.” She explains why she loves to rescue dogs and adores these little furry buddies with different personalities.
