Internet is the best place to find about everything. From little children to grandparents, everyone uses the internet these days. Social media is the best part of the internet as it allows people to share their thoughts and experience with everyone and allows them to communicate with each other.

The founder of the Animal Care Trust, Sean McCormack, and his friend Ross Tweedie the owner of the Taiwan Adventures, also got to know about an injured dog in a distant village after a hiker posted a photo of the injured dog on Facebook saying, “Please, there’s a dog up there. He desperately needs help. Can anyone help?”

Soon after they saw the picture, they realized that the puppy needed help immediately and decided to get to the place where the dog was staying quickly.

“It’s about 2.45 am, and we’re going to head off on a six-hour hike to a very remote village” They started the video before they left their apartment.

They began their journey to save the dog trapped in a Thai Village without proper road access. The video shows how far the village and they say, pointing out faraway places that “it is really in the middle of nowhere. There’s no way you can drive up there.”

Apart from that, the video footage also shows how exhausted they were during the journey. “It’s not normally something you try to do in a day,” Ross said, and “we’re only gone ten steps, there was no preparation, he is an expert. For him, it was a walk in the park. For me, it was the most difficult thing I’ve done in my life. I honestly thought I was going to let the whole thing down,” Sean added while showing Ross and footage showing how tired they were even when they started the hike around 3 o’clock.

They started the journey hoping that dog would still be there and not knowing the condition the dog was going to be in at the time. They were concerned that they would have to return without the dog if it had already left the place he was before.

Finally, they reached the guest house. The dog was said to stay around 7.15 am, and they found the dog named Sandy hiding under a chair.

The dog was very calm, and he came out and put his head on his lap, and they described that action as rare for even a friendly dog. The dog had already severely injured his front paw and was missing from a hunter’s leg hold trap. They describe him as very weak and in pain.

“Oh mate, I’m so sorry, But we can turn you into a happy dog,” Sean said, and they understand that they need to get a dog this back down ASAP.

Also, they explain how the dog let them clean his wounds and bandage and stayed calm down the journey. Even though they were concerned about whether he will stay in the backpack, they were surprised after seeing the dog’s attitude and said that the dog knew that they were there to help him.

After they came down, they took Sandy home, and after 4 to 5 days of treatment, Sandy started to walk around.

He recovered and looked happy after staying more time there. They were able to find a lovely family to adopt him.

Sean happily shared this whole story on social media. It catches the hearts of millions of dog-loving people soon, and guys promised to make Sandy a happy dog.
